Along with my love of cooking and music (Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, the list goes on…), comes my interest in the arts. Having graduated from the University of Auckland with a degree in Art History and French, and while studying for a DipABRSM in Piano Performance, what better excuse is there for creating artMuse – my blog dedicated to the discussion of art and its history. As well as including brief analyses of artists and their works, and short essays that explore conceptual themes in the art world, artMuse features local exhibition reviews and write-ups of upcoming shows at Gow Langsford Gallery (Auckland, New Zealand), where I currently work.
artMuse is intended as an open space where thoughts and opinions are discussed, so don’t hesitate to leave a line! I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Enjoy your reading,
Ilaria.
